Good Product, But Not FlawlessAug 11, 2007
By Jennifer Whildin

These wipes are really good for cleaning and disinfecting areas. They're textured, which makes them a little easier to keep hold of without them bunching up or slipping around. It's the dispensing method that leaves something to be desired. The commercials say they dispense better than Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, which they do, but they don't dispense as easily as they make them out to be.
Each wipe stands in front of the other, sort of like tissues in a box, standing on end, and I think this is a better method than Clorox Wipes uses (a roll). You grab the first one in front, and pull it through the opening, which extends to the end of the top, rather than being a hole or slit in the center, like most wipes and similar products. You pull it to the end of that opening, and pull the wipes out to the side. However, it's pretty easy for the wipes to slip back out, and you have to slide them back in. Another thing that seems to happen too often is, the wipe will detach from the one that will follow it as you pull it out, and you have to grab the next wipe and start the pack again like when it's newly opened. It's not hard to do, but it is a bit of a pain. Unlike with Clorox Wipes, you don't get a bunch coming out at the same time (see my review for Clorox Wipes for more info on this), which makes the Mr. Clean product preferable.
The scent is stronger than any of the Clorox Wipes I've used, to the point is sometimes can irritate the eyes and burn the nose. Some pleasant scents would be nice.
I'd like a little improvement on the dispenser, but overall, Mr. Clean Power Multi-Surface Disinfecting Wipes are my recommendation over Clorox Wipes.

Mr. Clean Fresh Scent Disinfecting Wipes 75 countMay 25, 2011
By Marjorie I love the Mr. Clean Fresh Scent wipes! I have a fussy nose, so smells are important to me. I actually buy this product more for the smell it gives my home than for any other reason. I love it. Much better than Clorox or Lysol for smell, in my opinion. I like the container shape and dispensing method, although sometimes a wipe doesn't follow its leader and I have to restart them. The wipes are easy to use and strong enough for my needs. I can't find it in any of the stores anymore, so I'm wondering if it's been discontinued. That's the story of my life. Everytime I find something I like a lot, it gets discontinued. Frustrating. I'm on my last container and I'm rationing them since they are nowhere to be found in my area of Enumclaw, Washington, so I'm searching online now. We have 2 discount stores in town that stock discontinued items, and I check weekly, but they haven't had this one. Does anyone know if this product is still being made?
Not my Favorite, But Still a Good ChoiceJan 28, 2009
By JJ Stark I've tried just about every disinfecting/cleaning wipe on the market. Of the three "big" names, this is probably my least favorite. I love the shape and size of the container -- much easier to store. The dispenser is not the greatest, altho I do like it better than the Lysol wipes. I don't find these cloths as thick as the Clorox wipes, but they are thick enough so that they do not rip or break. One cloth is usually enough to get the job done. I was expecting these to smell just like the original Mr. Clean, but they don't. The smell is almost "generic" but not overpowering. While they are not my favorite wipe on the market, I would still buy them is my regular brand was not available.
very usefulNov 11, 2008
By JGC This is an all-purpose cleaner that every home will find many uses for. I use it in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms just about every day. I especially like this product because the towels come out so easily without much effort and never bunch up. It's also great on glass, mirrors and picture frames, doorknobs, telephones, walls and light switches.
