Layers of olives are alternated with layers of salt, and the olives are left to cure for weeks. Wonderfully intense in aromatic flavor they possess hints of black cherry and plum and have a slightly bitter finish. These wrinkled black olives remain meaty and full of deep smoky qualities without being overly salty. These olives are just another example of authentic Moroccan flavor brought to you by Mustapha Haddouch. Moroccan cuisine is considered one of the most important cuisines in the world. | | | Features: | |

These are delicious, slightly sweet (sugar in processing maybe?) and perfect with some citrus juice and peel, olive oil and chopped fresh herbs, an hour's marinade, for a first course or to accompany anything Greek to Morroccan. A favorite of a three year old friend.
Great product for the price!Feb 20, 2010
By Patricia A. Clark I am thrilled that I bought these olives. The price for the product is so much better than I have found in any local store, and I was very happy with the quality of the olives. One thing I always make to have ready to eat is hummus, and these are the perfect olives to compliment it!
SURPRISE!! these have pits!Nov 02, 2009

Although it says pitted on the container, they most certainly do have pits. An average tasting olive; next time I'll spend more and buy the Greek olives.
