My mother-in-law has cats and does not clean litter boxes regularly. We have to sleep in basement where they are kept. OMG! I bought a pail of NMAMOA and scooped out the gel and put it on containers around the basement. It and a good cleaning helped a lot. It took a few days. My only complaint is, that it is also smelly - supposedly a clean smell, but quite overpowering after a while. I admit I do not like foo foo smells.

I knew without even opening the box that this would not do for me: I could smell the product through all the packaging of the original shipment. I'm very sensitive to odors and was looking for something that would absorb the nasty smells coming from my downstairs neighbor's apartment without adding any additional aroma. Some may find the perfume pleasant, but if I can smell it when I walk past the still-sealed box it arrived in, then I know it's way too overwhelming and would give me headaches. I'm even worried about having it in my car long enough to get the box back to the post office.

I moved into a new home with serious pet order. The person that used to occupy the home was a dog watcher. You could smell animal urine etc as soon as you walked in. Even after you clean the smell comes back because it has been absorbed over time by the surfaces. The worst was the basement. I actually would cover my nose when I went down to do the laundry. I bought different types of odor absorbers and placed them in different rooms. I placed the large tub on the basement stairs because it was the largest container. I tried different brands because I had no idea how they would work. As soon as I opened the tub I thought, "Whoa, this stuff is strong." I am actually surprised at how well this product worked. It worked in the worst area better than the other products I got. This is only the second review I've written. I normally do not write reviews but I am glad that I found something to help because the smell was actually nauseating to me. The only thing I wish is that they made this in smaller containers so I could place them in certain other locations.

I own a small gym and was looking for something to help with the various odors that come with the territory. My gym is in a very culturally diverse area with many different body and food odors on display. I needed something that worked. I put one tub in the cardio section (the heaviest odor area) of the gym and this thing works! It took about a day for the odors to completely disappear from the approx. 1000sf cardio area of the gym. I'm ordering another one for the free weight area. The absorber gel does have a fairly strong fragrance, but when placed in the corner of the room, I never smelled it. I only noticed all the other odors disappearing. I think this might be different if you place the absorber in a smaller room...the fragrance might be too overpowering. Overall I give it 5 stars because it did exactly what it was supposed to do in my situation.

this product works WONDERS for a lowsy kitty room we were faced with in a new apartment. IT WORKED. Yet, smells like a huge mens urinal puck thing... it has a scent to it that might bother people and make them feel like there in wrigleys bathrooms, we avoided the lease on the place but this still worked for the week we were there! highly recommended for covering nasty odors, yet, you will be getting the bathroom chemical smell in its place!
