I put this on every night before bed. It has a sweet kinda floral scent, maybe an orangecicle and a soft floral note. It sounds weird but smells great. It lasts all night, goes on smooth and is very silky. I love this, its not a gloss, its more like chapstick...Plus I love the container, the cap cant just pop off, like on other lip balms. I am a user for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I had originally purchased this when i was on accutane under the brand name labello, and it was the only thing that worked, and fabulously at that. Since then i have gotten hooked! Although that doesn't mean i feel like i need to wear it all the time. I think it smells mildly like black pepper (although nobody else agrees with me); it has no fruity flavour, no tint, nothing like that (but they do sell ones that have those things if you want them). I keep mine in my pocket and it "melts" or rather softens slightly to a more vaseline-like consistency, which i find to be more comfortable. When i first get a tube it seems hard, but after a few hours in the pocket...so smooth, never waxy or drying. The Labello tube looks the same except for the name. The whole blue part is the cap, kind of like a lipstick, very secure. And the twisting mechanism never seems to break free from the center of the actual balm like it always did in my chapstick. It has never opened in my pocket, and i always have one in there. I have one in my jeans pocket, one in my purse. One next to the bed, and a few scattered around. I use nothing else, and yes i really own six tubes of this stuff (purchased separately...this six pack is a great idea!). it is FABULOUS. The two things i should point out are that it does not contain sunscreen. If you want a product with sunblock, you need the one with the yellow cap (some others has spf too). Plus, it has a slightly glossly sheen, nothing serious, but if you are male and that might bother you, keep that in mind.

I'm not a "chap stick addict" like some people, but I really love this Nivea stuff. When I was a kid if my lips were really chapped my mom would give me some of her really expensive Sheisedo? lip healer to use. It smelled, looked and worked just like this stuff.
It is very smooth, nearly fragrance free and (good from a guy's perspective) doesn't cause any shine, gloss or greasy look.
I prefer this one over the one with SPF in it just because I prefer the smell/taste of this one a little more. Both are good products.

Nivea Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care did what I was beginning to think was impossible: moisturize my lips without making them peel, burn or somehow harden/stiffen the outer layer of my lips. I have tried SO MANY different lip balms, sticks, glosses, etc. with some pretty disappointing results. That is, until I discovered this product. This is the only lip moisturizer on the market that I have found that doesn't irritate my lips in any way, but keeps them smooth, moisturized and supple. I'm really stumped on what it is that is in the other lip care products I have purchased that doesn't agree with my lips, but whatever it is, it is apparently not in this particular formula. If stuff like "Chap Stik" brand and other similar things leave your lips feeling worse than when you used them, I seriously recommend you giving this Nivea a Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care a try. An important note, for me, the other "A Kiss of ....." blends by Nivea did not work well on my lips, only the "A Kiss of MOISTURE." I bought the 3 pack offered in a drugstore once, and none of the other were as effective or as gentle on my lips as this one.
The lip care stick itself is very, very faintly scented, it reminds me ever so slightly of fresh cucumbers, or something else very fresh and clean, but it is so faint it is hard to really nail down a particular scent. I have to put it up close to my nose to smell it as I do not smell it or taste in when I wear it. It feels rather creamy/buttery going on, but soothing, not hot. It leaves no color or waxy feeling at all. It does not tingle or feel heavy, just a lovely supple and moisturizing effect. I try to always keep extra on hand and one with me at all times, it's that good. Since I've been using this, my lips feel soft, supple and smooth.

Stays on a long time, not too goey and actually does what it says - MOISTURIZES! No need to constantly reapply.
If you've lived in dry, sunny or cold weather climates, you've struggled with good lip protection. Look no further. I've tried everything from organic honey bees wax to medicated tubes to high-end cosmetic balms, NIVEA does it again. Amazing.
