This ground beef mix makes for a delicious and quick meal. You can use it to make Cuban picadillo. But, I've used the mix to make empanadas (beef turnovers), Spanish-style meatloaf, and even a zesty cottage pie. The ingredients are all natural and taste absolutely fresh.

The Nueva Cocina Picadillo tastes fantastic! I love the fact that the ingredients are healthy and all natural. I have used this particular product so many times and in so many different ways - and I always get rave reviews from my family and friends. I have made it by itself and put it over white rice - the flavor is so savory. I have also made it as an appetizer - put it on tortilla chips individually, sprinkle a little shredded cheese and top with salsa and an olive half - put in oven for 5 minutes and it is a great hors d'oeuvre. - Pam Kirk, California

This is a GREAT product. I hate to review it because I don't want to have the demand go up and the price then follow!! But, I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of this wonderful product. It tastes great and is so easy to make. 3 steps and you are done! If you are single and want to impress a date....whip this up with some white or yellow rice! Your date will think you spent hours cooking! And even if you are not single and you have goofed off all day....whip this up and dinner is served!! Really wonderful product. I highly recommend.

was just ok. think they must have changed the recipe as this was way better a few years ago. I would not buy again, will try to find a good picadillo recipe.

Nueva Cocina products are convenient, natural,easy, and above all tasty. I make a batch and use it to top white or sweet potatoes, sprinkled over omelets or salads and I have 4-5 meals spiced up and ready to go.
