Ole! Now we're cooking!!!Mar 21, 2007

I am already a fan of all Nueva Cocina Products and this Paella dish just made me look like the world's best cook. I added shrimp, little-neck clams, bay scallops, mussels, and one fillet of grouper cut in chunks. Everything cooked to perfection within the time indicated in the instructions and my family could not believe I didn't spend all day long slaving over the stove. The flavors are authentic Spanish, rich, and yet light enough to know you ate an all natural dish. We loved every bite of it and will continue buying this product.

Excellent mix for paellaSep 10, 2008
By Resips I have prepared several Nueva Cocina mixes and have been very pleased. This paella mix is no exception. The rice and seasonings are stirred into water, with some white wine and a little olive oil, brought to a boil and then simmered. While the rice was cooking part way, I sauteed some jumbo prawns and large sea scallops in a separate skillet. I also browned some sliced garlic sausage. When the rice was about five minutes from being done, I added the seafood, the sausage and some frozen baby peas. It was so easy and a very big hit with the family. Actually, it was so good, I would serve it to guests and probably wouldn't even confess it was from a mix. Hmm, I do wonder which cookbook had the recipe.

Easy Rice MixOct 06, 2006
By meemee We liked this product. I used shrimp but did not add as directed. We do not like to cook shrimp 15 minutes. I saut'eed the shrimp and added on top of the rice when finished. I gave it a four star because I felt it could have a little more kick. Would buy again as it makes a fast meal.
Great product, but not for $5.5 per box.Jan 26, 2011
By G Yancey Great mix. Just add shrimp. The price used to be $13 for 6 boxes, but now the price has increased to $33 for the same amount. That is robbery. 5 Stars on the Product, 1 Star on the current price of $33. Our local Publix used to carry this, but stopped. I thought I had found a replacement in Amazon, but this product isn't worth nearly $6 a box
Amazon, please get this product from a reputable vendor and sell at a reasonable price. This product might sell at $33 for 6 boxes, but you won't sell it to me.
