Thanks Amazon! And thanks to Organic Valley for a LOW FAT shelf stable milk that tastes great! I always have these handy packs around, and this is the only brand I know of with a low fat option. I started using Parmalat in Europe, but when the company filed for bankruptcy in '04 it became almost impossible to find in the USA....and no one filled the need for UHT milk. Who stepped up to the plate? The Organic milk companies! This size is just enough for a day's worth of coffee drinkers.

It tastes good and rich. This is my first aseptic milk purchase. The only thing is when I received my package, it's about 3 months from the expiration date.

These single serve aseptic cartons of milk, which need no refrigeration, are just incredibly convenient to have on hand. Many trips to the store have been avoided -- saving a lot of gas and time -- when I only needed a cup or two of milk.
A plus is that the milk is delicious, organic, and comes in lowfat 1%. Instant milk, though handy to use in recipes, never seems to mix up into a pleasantly drinkable beverage.
My idea of coffee is 8 oz. of hot milk to 2 oz. of strong coffee, so I've used these out of my pantry multiple times at 6 a.m. when I really didn't want to go to the store just to get milk for my wake-up coffee.
Perhaps you never run out of milk like I do, but if you do, and find yourself needing just enough for cereal, or a recipe, or for your coffee or tea, these are great to have tucked away and available. A terrific time saver!

Great portability (small carton + no refrigeration needed!), price, and convenience (delivery sort of brings back the old milkman days) combined with the health benefits and the key fact that our 5 year old daughter loves it makes this a win-win on all fronts.

Last week I decided to try something new with this milk instead of just drink it from the glass. Well,have you ever tried this stuff over cereal? AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about how it changes the dry, bland, and sometimes boring taste of plain cereal. Without a doubt, the greatest find of '09. I'll be sure to come back if I find any other uses for this product.
