"Bison" Medallions (with Pork and Beef) - New Tri-Meat Source FormulaOct 17, 2010
By Anna The original formula organic Bison medallions WERE excellent. I fed them regularly to my dog, with great results and recommended them to a number of friends, including breeders and show exhibitors. Unfortunately, the recently altered so-called "Organic Bison" medallion formula (which now includes Pork and Beef in addition to Bison) is NOT ACCEPTABLE and I will not re-order it. No doubt, the modified Bison-Pork-Beef formula is less expensive to produce, but is being sold at the same price under the same name on Amazon. I would have preferred to pay more for the original, authentic Bison medallions. Although Paw Naturaw continues to offer the original Bison formula in roll form (which is inconvenient, messy for my use), the true Bison formula medallions or patties apparently have been discontinued, sans name change to alert customers to the modification. To the extent I continue to use Paw Naturaw products, it will be necessary to scrutinize product ingredient labels each time before ordering, as one apparently cannot rely upon the designated product name to indicate consistency of ingredients. At a minimum, the name of the altered-formula Bison product sold on Amazon should have been changed to alert customers to the modified formula and tri-meat sources: Organic Bison-Pork-Beef. I wrote this review before attempting to contact the Company with feedback, in view of their poor past customer service response track record.

well tolerated by my food allergy sensitive dogNov 04, 2009
By A. Richards I was nervous to begin a raw food diet for my 10 year old 6lb. chihuahua. The bison was well tolerated because it is a hypo allergenic meat. He devoured it in two seconds! I am extremely impressed by the quality of Paw Naturaw's ingredients, through my research they are the best I've seen. I will continue to purchase this product. I'm thinking of trying the elk but would love for them to add rabbit.

raw diet for dogsSep 08, 2008
By Darcy Dorwart The grass-fed organic bison medalions are very easy to use. It is sized right for small dogs, and eliminates the need to cut frozen pieces for a portion. There is no smell, they look good, my dog loves them, and they travel well, staying frozen for hours in a cooler. I think thses grass-fed organic bison medalions are the highest quality raw diet you can feed a dog. Thanks for the great product.
Horrible Customer Service!!May 17, 2012
By Unsatisfied Potential Customer Horrible customer service!!! Recently I've been researching more about pet food and wanted to know if some of the brands own their own manufacture. I've emailed Paw Naturaw to ask where their factory is located. It took them weeks to respond. When they got back to me, I asked if they own the facility. They told me to go to their website. I've looked and haven't found anything. Finally I called them. They picked up, I asked, "I know you produce your products in Wisconsin. Do you own the facility as well?" The lady said, "Thank you for calling," and hung up the phone on me. I don't understand what the big deal is. Obviously they have something to hide if they keep avoiding the question. I'm very skeptical of their products and would alarm everyone to be too. Something is just off about them.
Not for my dogs....May 12, 2009
By Melissa Glenn Well not for both of them anyway. One dog loved it and devoured it, the other one was almost spitting it out.
The ingredients are great too bad it didn't work out.
