Do not be confused - light soy does not mean reduced sodium, it means light in color. And this soy is an excellent choice for chinese cooking as well as general use - a light, crisp flavor.
Used to be available locally for $1.59 per bottle, but those were the good old days...

Pearl River Bridge is by far the most authentic soy sauce I have ever tasted. Other brands, like those from Taiwan, taste sweeter, which I personally don't like that much. But the Light version does seems to contain perservative, whereas the dark version does not. I am not sure exactly why, but this might be important to some people.

I had no idea how good soy sauce could taste. The flavor is so much more complex and earthy than grocery store brand. Well worth the money.

This is best soy I have had. It is light but full of flavor. It is very different from you you can get in the supermarket.
