Pediasure good but costlyJan 09, 2007
By Love to Shop Online Pediasure was prescribed by pediatrician for a toddler who is a picky eater. It is expensive to give two bottles a day and I only wish you could find it on sale occasionally in the stores.

Good for nutritional benefits and weight gainNov 03, 2011
By flutacious7 My daughter's doctor recommended we give her pediasure once daily in addition to cow's milk at her 1-year appointment to ensure sufficient weight gain. We incorporated 4-8 ounces once per day for 6 weeks and it certainly seems to have added in weight gain. My daughter was willing to drink the vanilla, which I think she really enjoyed. Before this, she was happy to switch between breast milk and cow's milk, but post-pediasure, hasn't seemed to want to drink the breast milk. Not sure if the sweetness/thickness of this drink were too much and that caused the change or what. I think if you really need the nutritional or weight gain benifits, this works. If not, I think it's too sweet and wouldn't risk getting a child hooked on it. We've now gone back to just the cow's milk and she will drink that just fine, however. Still no breast milk.

HEALTHY AND YUMMYMar 10, 2008

My daughter used to drink yogurt smoothies for breakfast. When I saw how many vitamins, carbs, calories this drink I had I was sold. It is hard to get a toddler to eat all 1000 calories when they have such small stomaches. This drink is SO great because it is delicous and so healthy. She drinks one every day for breakfast and we have noticed a subtle change in her health and behavior. These drink are usually around $14.00 for a six pack of the plastic bottles. A bit pricey but since it covers her entire morning breakfast, it is not a bad deal for us. If you have a picky eater I would give it a try, they taste like milkshakes. These contain milk and soy so watch out for allergies.

Great for the picky eater!Apr 24, 2012

My daughter is a very picky eater and I was worried she was not getting all the nutrition she needs. So I had her try these and she LOVES them. She drinks them straight from the bottle or makes a milkshake with them. They are loaded with lots of vitamins and nutrients so I feel confident that my daughter is healthy while adding these Pediasure drinks to her very limited eating habits. Though they are a bit pricy, I have found that Amazon is a great place to buy them in bulk for cheaper than our stores sell them.

Happy!Nov 16, 2011
By L. BUULTJENS This worked better for my picky eater than the pediasure vanilla with fiber. Pediasure is VERY sweet and the vanilla tastes like condensed milk. But I did see a HUGE difference in my toddler who eats like a bird, as she gained some weight and looked much healthier and energetic within 2 or 3 days of drinking the pediasure. At first I gave her about 2 or sometimes 3 bottles a day as it replaced her main meals. It seems to have improved her appetite too but once she is where I want her to be in terms of being healthy and nourished, I stop the pediasure. If I need to start it again, I don't hesitate to, as I have seen what it does for my child and I know how beneficial pediasure can be to her.
