Old school goodnessJun 04, 2010
By R. Marcus I ate this sweet cereal as a child and loved it. I am now eating this cereal as a 40 something person and still love it. Nothing on the shelves today can compare. No, you won't get big and strong and it won't keep you regular like granola or bran. However, if you want something pleasuarable to the taste, get a box of Quisp. It is als enjoyable to eat plain as a snack. Thank you Amazon for having this product available since stores no longer have it. FYI- the expiration dates for the boxes were all valid and fresh!

Perfect combination of sweetness and mapleJun 11, 2009
By Eric A. Reppermund If you are like me, and you ate multiple dozens of boxes of quisp during the 1970's, this is just like the original. I can't discern any flavor difference, and my family is now hooked as well.
My only complaint is that Quaker needs to make this in a box larger than 9 oz's. That is a little bit small for a cereal not targetted to the healthy consumer. Most other cereal choices in this category are offered in 16 oz and larger sizes.

Delicious. Reasonably priced. Thank you Amazon!!Apr 10, 2009
By Todd Entenman I really the fact that Quaker has reissued this cereal. It is very tasty: exactly like original Cap'n Crunch, though less dense. I don't know where in the country this cereal is sold in the store, but I can't get it where I live. (I guess I don't understand the politics of how grocery stores purchase cereal, etc.) The retro styling is a great draw, perhaps the biggest draw, of this cereal. Thank you Amazon for making this product available at a reasonable price with free shipping!!

Excellent and delicious!May 10, 2009

Quisp cereal is yummy! In a good way, it reminds me of Captain Crunch - the flavor and texture are similar. Great taste. My least favorite aspect of Captain Crunch is that I get a raw, scraped feeling on the roof of my mouth. However, with Quisp, the pieces are slimmer and shaped more like an indented coin, so after eating them your mouth feels fine. The cereal stays crunchy in the bowl with milk for a while; it doesn't get soggy, it stays "Quisp"! Also, it stayed fresh in the box for a good amount of time - though it didn't stick around long enough to know for sure! I would definitely order Quisp again.

Finally you can get my favorite childhood cereal that has been discontinued by nearly all grocery stores. I love the taste of this cereal. The bulk packaging is ideal and there are 3 options for auto-delivery. This is a win-win situation.
