Just received a 2nd order of 2 cases of this romano cheese, 1st order we loved, but the new cheese has new packaging and new ingredients as well- it has cow's milk (we only do sheep/goat), and preservatives, caking agents, and "food starch" (we are gluten free, so that presents another potential problem), emailed company waiting for reply...will update... Sheesh, I hate it when they change a product without warning anyone !!

About as close as you can get to fresh .Made with sheeps milk and grated lightly the flavor is outstanding for this kind of supermarket product.Sodium slightly high at 105mg per Tbsp,though.Good of this kind.

This is the first cheese I have gotten from this Racconto. It is excellent!! I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Italian cheese. I have used it plain on vegetables cold and hot, and in cooking and the taste is superb.
