Hard to find a premade pesto without the added cheese. This one satisfies and as previewer reviewer notes it is a little spicier than a regular basil/cheese based pesto. However, I eat hot foods a bit and this one isn't really on the same level of heat as something I'd consider hot or even medium. I welcome the little spice in this product.
