very disappointed in the nylon bagsNov 09, 2010
Its my understanding (based on discussions with material scientists!) that nylon releases toxins when put into hot water..so..whats the deal with the nylon tea bags? This wasn't stated anywhere or I wouldn't have bought them. The company told me they wee FDA approved, but the FDA is only worried about things that will kill you in the short run, or that have very high levels of dangerous chemicals. Trace amounts are permitted. Considering how much tea I drink, I'd rather not add toxins to my body every single time.
In contrast Might Leaf, while they have similar looking tea bags, theirs are not nylon and are biodegradable in addition to not being dangerous.
Very disappointed in this product. They should at least have been upfront about the nylon bags so concerned people can avoid buying them.

One Of My FavoritesDec 22, 2007

This is a smooth, sweet, flavorful tea. I absolutely love it. It is an excellent replacement for after dinner coffee. The caramel flavor is amazing. I sometimes have it without dessert in place of the sweet. Try this anytime you feel the need to indulge. The Insfuser Bag is simply elegant. The stay fresh packaging is a wonderful idea.
My only criticism is of the brewing instructions. Revolution uses the same instructions for black, red, green and white tea. Any research will tell you that there are differences in the brewing processes.
It doesn't get any better than this!Jun 14, 2011
By J. Cupas I am a decaf tea drinker, and this tea is one of my two top favorites for flavor. It is SO good that I bought an extra large mug, and I add TWO of these tea bags to it for an afternoon treat. It is especially good with about 1/2+ tsp. of raw honey and a lot of vanilla soy milk. Mmmm.

By J. Alexander I drink several cups of coffee some days so a caffeine-free beverage is needed to keep me balanced. I have ordered honeybush from other retailers on the web and I must say that caramel twist really does add to the flavor. I do not heavily sweeten my tea and with this one, you really don't need it. A splash of creamer and I am happy. And if you know about tea, then you know Rooibos and Honeybush are high in anti-oxidants and have several health benefits.
Tea that even a non tea drinker would likeFeb 18, 2011
By if I say so These teas (the flavours I've tried are white tea pomegranate, white tea pear and this one) are so delicious. I've enjoyed herbal and black teas all my life, but never so much as now that I've found revolution teas. We first discovered them after a meal at a renowned restaurant/hotel in Montreal, where they came in cute little individual boxes. Once was enough to get us hooked on the Honeybush Caramel, and we were on the lookout thereafter. We found them again at a market in NYC, and stocked up. After that I knew I'd need to keep them around at all times. The white teas with fruit are refreshing and great for hydration in winter when I'm less inclined to drink big glasses of water. One tea bag is more than enough for a big pot of tea, which I can happily polish off on my own. The Honeybush is particularly great with dessert or some cookies, as it has a delicious richness and slightly caramelly sweetness.
The only thing I find slightly bothersome is that such amazing delicately balanced teas come in a nylon bag. Nylon seems to be great for flavor transfer, and looks very pretty (like silk), but I wonder if it is unhealthy to be putting a man-made plastic based fabric in boiling water. I've found no evidence that it is a problem however, so it's just a niggling thought that I would prefer (both for the environment and myself) a natural and sustainable bag.
These are so good for herbal tea (not the least bit 'herbally' in their goodness for you), that I'm willing to overlook the tea bag fabric issue for now.
