I use this rice when I'm in a hurry to add to burritoes and other Mexican dishes. My grocery store stopped carrying it, thank goodness for Amazon! It's better than white rice (which I won't eat), and one of the few prepackaged products I use on occasion. Convenient and yummy.

We love this product! It's a great side, but our favorite use is under a salsa chicken slow-cooker recipe. Place chicken breasts (4-6), taco seasoning, 1 C salsa, 1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup in slow cooker with 1 can corn and 1 can black beans. Cook 6-8 hrs on low, shred, and serve on top of this Whole Grain Blend Spanish Rice with a dollop of light sour cream, and you have our family's favorite healthy meal. I have never seen my kids eat so much! It's hard to find this product where I live, so we have started ordering from Amazon. No problems, so I'll continue!

I am so glad Amazon carries this product, because we can no longer find it in our grocery stores (and we have 5 grocery stores to choose from). We used to use the original spanish rice Rice-A-Roni, but now we prefer the whole grain version. I actually think it tastes better, and the healthy factor is a plus. Also, you don't need a can of tomatoes for this one, which often was a problem if I wanted to make the rice but didn't have the tomatoes. For that reason, it is not as "wet" but I wasn't a fan of the tomato chunks anyway. This goes great with tacos, burritos, and enchiladas when we make them at home. We enjoy it enough to purchase in bulk from Amazon. I highly recommend it.
