Great Taste & Great ValueOct 28, 2009
By Nicole Much cheaper than in the grocery store (retail $7.15 w/out tax). Very Tasty - I eat it twice a day. I like putting cinnamon, sugar & milk on it. My husband puts butter and garlic on it. Using the microwave - it is ready to eat within minutes!!!

great productMar 23, 2008
By D. Mack I like this better than the couscous I buy at the grocery that comes in a carboard box. Better price and I bet it stays fresher.
Try making it with more liquid than the recipe calls for. I use approx. 1 cup liquid (chicken stock or water) and 3/4 cup couscous. Comes out much fluffier.
I don't add oil or salt and it's just fine.

delicious and versatile!Sep 03, 2007
By columbiauni I've been making this couscous with non-fat chicken broth and then changing the other items to make really versatile dishes. I made one with fresh black eyed peas from our local farm, canned black beans, gypsy peppers, olive oil, red wine vinegar, corn and cilantro. It was delicious and the whole family couldn't stop snacking on it for 2 days! I also made it with the chicken broth, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and basil and tomatoes from our garden and that was a hit, too! I definitely recommend using 1 cup couscous with 1-1/4 cups chicken broth to cook the couscous. Then you can add your other goodies depending on what you have around the house/garden!
excellent quality but overpricedAug 01, 2011
By John It's a shame that I can't find couscous at a regular grocery store... I love couscous so I had to get some... As soon as you open the jar the delicate aroma of this fine product fills your nostrils...at a very hefty price!

I use couscous so much and it is great back up plan if unexpected company is added to the dinner table since it is ready so quickly.I like to flavor chicken broth with my own seasonings and oil for a side dish. It works well with anything grilled. Our family favourite is with kabobs.I have also used it cold as a salad base. The jars are so much more economical than buying a box good for one meal.I'm never without some couscous in the cupboard!!
