Roland Balsamic Borretane Onions - very good productJan 16, 2012
By D. Edwards We ordered the onions packed in balsamic vinegar already being fans of veggies and salads with balsamic vinegar. This is the first time tasting this product and have no experience of other versions of this Italian delicacy with which to compare it. So, we're not sure how this might measure up to with other similar products which may or may not be better.
I was hoping for something that my guests would enjoy more, but the product was good. We just served cold as a side dish but would be very good in salads. The over all taste is balsamic, of course, but onions are quite sweet and reasonably crisp. I enjoyed them. We did not try any of the pastry presentations which would have been very good, I'm sure. Other reviewers will be able to offer better comparisons.
