I tried this pasta thanks to Batali's Molto Mario cookbook, and I'm extremely glad I did. The price here is the cheapest you will find it, and the pasta is just fantastic. It truly has to be experienced to be believed. A tip: cook 1 package of this in 6 quarts of water with 2 Tbsp of salt. Trust me on this one. The noodles come out so delicious that we could eat them plain.

I purchased this when I could no longer find my usual favorite bucatini by Barilla. The Rustichella Bucatini has a nice, but subtle, nutty flavor with a perfect al dente texture. I would definitely purchase this product again.

The package will not seem very big until you cook them. Big meaty pasta that gave the three of us 2 meals easily, Tasty fine quality.

4it's...bucatini.Feb 28, 2011

I wish I could wax as eloquently as others and refer to the subtle nutty textures, tannin overtones, and subtle spicy, citrusy, and earthy bouquets of the pasta.

But I can't, because I am not a ridiculous individual.

But I can tell you this: It is bucatini, it tastes like bucatini, it feels like bucatini, and it cooks like bucatini. That's why I bought it, and hopefully that's why you're buying it.
