This product is the smaller of two different sizes of the Scotch-Brite Magic erasing pad. I have used both sizes and the Mr. Clean version. All three products do a great job cleaning, but they disintegrate as you scrub. I presume it is designed to do so. The large size of the Scotch-Brite brand worked best for me. Both the Mr. Clean version and the smaller Scotch-Brite fell apart very quickly. As they began to fall apart, they become very hard to hold. On the larger Scotch-Brite product, even as the white part disintegrated the blue part held it together and functioned as a grip. Thus, I highly recommend the Large version of the Scotch-Brite Easy Erasing Pad. It is a very effective cleaning tool.

I can't believe I bought a case of these, but they are amazing. I have used them in the car and I was able to get out what I believed was a permanent coffee stain in the bottom of a ceramic mug.

I got these because they were a better price than the Magic Erasers. They're good, but not as good as the magic erasers. I still have stains that I can't seem to get out with just this sponge alone.

I picked up a two-pack of these from a local closeout retailer a few weeks back, and decided to see how these would do vs. the unsightly scuffs, stains, and marks that've taken up residence on my walls over the years. Long story short, I was blown away! All of those funky marks have been eradicated by the pads that I'd purchased, although I DO have to say that it didn't take long for the white eraser surface to wear away on my pads. In a 1 bedroom apartment, one pad covered, let's say, about 10 solid feet of wall, floor to ceiling. That's not how much square footage I actually worked on (it was about three times that much space), but since the scuffs and marks were scattered around, that's my estimation of about how much coverage you'll get per sponge if you're working on marks that've been there for years. And considering how well the sponges actually held up after the white erasing surface was gone, I'm assuming that I had the "large" size of these, going by the top-rated review's description of how the smaller size totally fell apart. That didn't happen with my sponges, so they must be the large size.
Even with the lack of longevity factored in, I definitely plan on picking more of these up, especially considering that they did away with marks I'd totally given up on removing. I'd tried just about everything mundane that I had around the house to remove said marks, and nothing worked; at least, not without taking a layer of paint from the walls WITH it! And, incidentally, I haven't tried the actual Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, I just went with these, since they were so inexpensive at the store I found them at.
Long story short, these things are great! You (hopefully!) may not find yourself busting them out for your weekly home cleaning, but they are invaluable for those stains and marks that just won't go away!
