Seventh Generation makes wonderful products for the invironment and I've always found that they work well too. I didn't give this review the 5 stars only because when I got it ingredients were listed containing peroxide and I was afraid to use it on the rug for fear it would change the color. I tried it on a swatch and it did look different... actually darker instead of bleached... but was afraid to use it on the rugs then and used it for other things.

This is a seriously great product with a mild and pleasant smell. It uses non-toxic ingredients but works as well or better than any other commercial brand. I am so disappointed that this is no longer available as I prefer this version over the citrus.

I bought this product in bulk about a year back. I was not sure that an environment friendly product would be able to deal with the stain that my 3 year old produces but all in all I found the product to be satisfactory. In all fairness for tough stains we need special treatment anyways. In short this is great product for simple tea, ketchup type carpet stain treatment without adding more chemicals around you, and I would buy this product again.

This is the best spot and stain remover. You don't even need to scrub. I had a bad plant stain from overwatering and I tried this since it was more envionmentally friendly and it took the spot out, took a few application but it's gone. Also very good on carpet stains! No need to scrub...AMAZING STUFF!! Highly recommed!
