 Wonderful, natural soap for sooooo many uses!Jul 06, 2011

I bought this soap to use primarily as a hand soap for my childcare. I am a natural and organic childcare, so I choose to use soaps that are natural, too. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon as Castile Soap in stores is typically $7+ for one bottle. It has been wonderful! It's light and not overpowering, but it's strong enough to make their hands clean and make the bathroom smell like fresh ginger. I prefer the Vanilla Almond scent, but this was much cheaper when I needed more. I was happy to discover that it's perfect for refilling the foam soap dispensers; I mix only 1/4 - 1/2 Castile Soap and the rest water to get the perfect combination. For antibacterial help, I add a few drops of lemon or tea tree essential oil (bought on Amazon, of course).

I recently purchased the six pack of Shadow Lake Castile Soap Liquid in the Fresh Ginger scent. I'm using it as a hand soap, soap & shampoo in the shower/bath and even as a general cleaner (used it on my kitchen table, countertops etc). It has a nice slightly sweet gingery scent, not too spicy or overpowering. It's a natural and versatile product at a great price.

Shadow Lake Castile soap in the Fresh Ginger scent is awesome. The fact that the castile soap is pure and chemical-free makes you feel like you are doing something good for yourself and the environment. The Fresh Ginger scent is a sparkling and clean scent, yet it has a warmth, too. After showering with the Fresh Ginger castile soap, you feel wonderfully clean and refreshed and (added bonus) your bathroom smells fantastic.

This is the first time using castile soap. I bought it for using as baby wash for my kids and while it cleans SO MUCH BETTER than Johnsons Baby wash, bec. this is REAL soap, I really dislike the scent... I thought from the reviews it would be better, but trully not good for babies baths. For regular kitchen cleaning, or s/t like that- it would be fine and that is what I'll be using the rest for...
Also, I didn't realize it would be so liquidy. Maybe that is how they all are, but it is very liquidy, but very strong and potent too!

My husband and I love this soap. I like the clean fragrance of ginger and soap and the smooth and rich lather. We use it as a shampoo and body wash as well as handsoap. Another great thing is that it's safe for the environment and is a great value as it doesn't take very much to really lather up.
