Shi for Women by Alfred Sung a.k.a "The Come Closer Scent"Jul 03, 2009

The Scent: Soft. Light. Warm. Sexy. Incredibly Woman. Elegant.
I love the scent of a wonderful fragrance. You know the kind of parfume (or cologne) that when a woman or man stands next to you are drawn to them and you ask yourself "What is that wonderful smell?" Shi for Women by Alfred Sung is that kind of scent.
I have allergies and find most perfumes and fragrances too strong for me. I am a huge fan of Nina Ricci's Deci-Dela which is a light scent. Using some of the keywords from the Amazon.com description of Deci-Dela, Amazon's "Customer's Who Bought this Item also Bought" section, and reviews of recommended scents I built a list of lighter scented parfumes. Shi for Women by Alfred Sung was on the list.
I wanted a small collection of four scents that were suitable for the different events in my life, didn't trigger my allergies upon application and during wear, and went with my body's chemistry so that I could carry the scent. I feel that a lot of people buy a scent blindly and end up with boxes of scents that smell great, may have smelled great on others but do not work for them. Buying a fragrance for yourself is an investment that if you take time to research and test will lead you to finding your signature scents. Every woman has one.
My local perfume store was more than happy to allow me to try the scents on my list via test strips. I explained my situation and they were able to give me feedback on my list and offer other suggestions. We wrote the names down of the scents I tested on each strip and type of scent it was. I fell in love with Shi for Women right away. I asked for spray on my wrist so I could see how the scent worked with my body's chemistry. I dabbed a bit on my neck, purchased a gift for a friend, and went on my way.
Four hours later the scent was still there worked well my chemistry. It gets lighter but not light enough that you don't know it is there. No sneezing. No watery eyes. No tighter throat. Just a wrist that I kept bringing back to my nose to smell over and over again and smile. I was a happy puppy.
I went online to order it via Amazon.com. My package arrived on time and in excellent condition. I tested my bottle and was happy that the scent matched the sample I tested. I adore the simple chic bottle design that I think fits the scent.
I recommend Shi for Women by Alfred Sung because this is the kind of scent as woman you will want to wear for yourself not just for the man in your life. It will make you feel sexy and confident. It will make you smile because the scent smells great.
I feel that this scent is great for casual to day time wear. I think it is also a great scent for an intimate evening home alone for two.

I needed a decently priced everyday perfume, and after reading all the good reviews on amazon I got this perfume (though not from amazon, dn't think that makes much difference). But the perfume is not at all good. First of all, when you spray the scent is too strong, it is after a couple of minutes(>5) then the scent gets better, that too if you sniff really close to where you sprayed. A person next to you can't smell it at all. And after a an hour or so, the scent is not at all there.
I would not recommend anyone this perfume.

Very, nice and a simplistic, design...bottle, look's like a tear-drop! It is a great way to describe it, however it is not watered down, on the concentration. I think it's very appeasing to your senses and it is not a overwhelming smell. It has a ~Lilly flower smell to it, my favorite flower by the way...it also has a citrus orange appeal that is very light and not overpowering, has a hint of a light airy musk hidden inside the smell as well...the scent lasts all day, as well. I think the balances of each has adapted the whole body of the smell, which makes it very light and I personally would consider it a all day smell. Very nice indeed and well with my collection of high-end perfumes.
