I was looking for a Dusseldorf style mustard for my brats but my store didn't have any so I picked this up since it was from Wisconsin, the home of Brats. It made my Oregon brats taste just like back home, perfect! This is great mustard, hot but not too hot, spicy with a good "bite". This is a must have if you are grilling brats for the game or making sandwiches.

If you love horseradish, you will love this mustard. Don't feel like you can only put it on your Beer 'n' Brats - we put it on all kinds of food for some added kick!

Was at a local fair and bought a bratwurst from a vendor. They had this mustard. I put a generous helping on my brat and found a place to sit and eat.
The first bite nearly blew me away!! This mustard is NOT for the faint of heart! But if you like spicy mustard, you have just found your nirvana.

This is the closest thing to German Feuer Senf I have tasted in the US. In its own right, it is an excellent mustard with enough horseradish to provide a kick. The mustard has an outstanding taste, not too sweet like many other brands. The only problem I have with this product is not the mustard itself but the availability by Silver Springs. For many years it was available in large bottles from Sam's Club, etc. and now because of distribution, it is very difficult to find. For that reason, my current batch will be my last. The mustard is worth 5 stars, company distribution worth 1 star, total = 3 stars. I guess if the company refuses to make this product more available, it will die a slow death.

I was very unhappy that every jar of Silver Springs Mustard (9 jars) was dated Jan-16-11. How long is that going to last!!!!!! Couldn't a newer batch be sent?
