I don't what the maker of these cookies was thinking, but "Let's play a practical joke on people who love white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and get rich doing it," might have been one of their thoughts.
If you buy these overpriced cookies expecting to consume the standard delicious recipe you've eaten for decades, made by many different companies with slight variations and handsomely represented on this box, you will be shocked. This company's idea of the recipe is what you might create if you were making a sweet cookie-flavored dog biscuit. It's a vague representation of what the human version of the cookie should look and taste like.
