Expand too fastFeb 16, 2009
By Scrap These earplugs expand before I can even get them in my ear, so the fit is never snug enough to filter noise; they just fall out. Useless.

Awesome with mods!Feb 05, 2010
By S. Miller I bought these to tune out my rowdy upstairs neighbors on weekends. At first the fit was awful and I couldn't get them to stay in my ears, but I trimmed them down to about half the length and now they're perfect with my small ear canals. I haven't been woken up since I bought them!

Love 'emJan 10, 2010
By Jane Wade These are by far the best foam plugs I've found. I wonder if it is all just personal fit?
I do find that after a certain amount of use they don't compress well anymore, but when they are new they go into my small canals and block EVERYTHING. They last months before they stop working well for me.

Pink was good for a while, but Beige is my new PinkSep 26, 2011
By Too Much Girl For the last five years (at least) I have used the Pretty in Pink plugs and cannot sleep without them. I always carry at least two pairs with me at all times because I'm really sensitive to noise. I can easily develop a migraine from the most common sounds in a store (i.e., crying children, advertising over the loud speaker, people arguing on their cell phones, or the HD televisions playing different videos at the same time). They have been life-savers to me.
But.....lately, when I wear the Pretty in Pink ear plugs, they don't block the noise like before. Now, I can't fall asleep while my husband snores and, when I wake up, the plugs have usually fallen out. Plus, my ears itch deep inside the canal when I wear them, and even after 20 minutes, my ear canals are sore.
So, now, I use the Hearos Ultimate Softness ear plugs. They feel more like moleskin than rubber, and I can push them into my ear canal to really block the noise. Yet, my ears don't feel as though I've pushed corn cobs in them all night. Hearos Ultimate Softness, 20-Pair Foam (Pack of 2)
Sorry, Pretty in Pink. It was good while it lasted.

Insert them correctlyAug 30, 2011
By Irena J. Kish I found the best way to insert these earplugs is not to roll them, just wet your finger and insert in your ear to wet the insert area, then just slide the earplugs in, no need to rool them. That way they fit perfectly and have not had them fall out in the two years that I have been using them.
