Good but almost expired...Oct 01, 2007
By hounddog I purchased this product on 08/25/2007 and the bottles are to expire November 16, 2007. Many of the products we buy from Amazon come to us when they are almost expired. How is one family supposed to use 6 bottles of mayo that fast? I buy organic everything and when I have purchased organic mayo in my local grocery stores they have a much longer life. Also the mayo was kinda chunky like the oil had separated a little. I do not know if this was from the heat of the weather in August during shipping or what. But it did not look appealing. It tastes ok.

Great texture with little affect on the foods it's added to!Sep 12, 2009
By A. Bennett I've always used and loved Cain's mayonaise but when this product came up for sale on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a try. I was truly amazed at how it did not flavor the foods.....like the delicate crab meat or shrimp.... but just added the mayo texture and moisture to these salads. This is really a delightful, light but creamy mayo. If the price were right again, I'd buy it again! I recommend this organic mayo to anyone who can afford it. It really is different from any mayonaise I have ever tried.....AND I LIKE IT!

Not Kraft but great organic mayoMay 28, 2008
By Princess of Orion I will usually only eat Kraft mayonaise, all of the others seem to have an odd tangy flavor to me. Since going organic I've been using the Spectrum Naturals and I have to say it's really good. I like Kraft better but I enjoy this and use it because it's so much better for us.

Organic Au Natural and Tasty - Need one say moreFeb 25, 2010

OK, does it taste as good as Hellmans? No. But this is organic, and we want organic for countless reasons. So how does it taste? Well let me start with a story? For the last 35 years or so, Turkey dinner at Thanksgiving is served with a bowl of Mayo, some lettuce, salt, pepper and toast. Not for everyone, just me. Yep, I had Turkey sandwiches on Thanksgiving at the dinner table for over 3 decades... and it was more for the mayo than the Turkey. I really love Mayo. Mayo-BLT, Mayo-Tuna, Mayo-Catsup-Burger, and more. So how does it taste? It tastes fine for what it does. Remember it isn't a food staple, it's condiment, an enhancer, a side, an additive to a recipe, and nothing more. The only thing I care about is purity, safety, and organic ingredients. The bottom line is that this product is fine, and if it meets my requirements, the requirements of a 3 decade plus mayo nut, and is organic, you are safe to go. Also note that my desire for organic foods started shortly after reading the ingredient list on Quaker Fiber One Chewy Bars, and one of the top listed ingredients was Ehtanol, and I said to myself, "enough is enough". It's time to go organic.
