If your a sporty spice like myself, you will fall in love with clove! The true essence of the hollidays at my house as a child growing up on one of the far islands in the Zanzibar region was the sweet sent of the clove. I remember running down the stairs as a child to the luscious, red weft of a spiral ham my mother was preparing, skillfully placing these cloves all over the skin as if she were a cartographer, mapping the west. Forever, this sent will be the calling card of my past Holliday memories.
