Great Wasabi TasteFeb 27, 2009
By Darena Dorsey

I love wasabi and thought I would try this product out. I hate to have to run to a restaurant every time I have a wasabi craving.
You mix this powder with equal amounts of water, let sit 10 minutes and you've got wasabi sauce.
It tastes good and has a good kick. It will burn your sinuses. The color isn't a bright green like I usually see in restaurant but is kind of a pale, pea-soup color but it doesn't affect the flavor.
The texture is like when you take powdered mustard and mix with water, the texture is a little different than restaurant wasabi. It is more like a sauce than a paste.
If the color and the texture doesn't bother you then I recommend this product, it still has all the wasabi taste.
Amazon does sell wasabi paste on here also if you are interested in more of paste texture. I'm pleased with this product, it's great on food and since it's a powder, you can sprinkle in food like a spice. Yum!

Where's the heat?Jul 29, 2010
By Mark Johnson I normally have used tube "wasabi" (aka horseradish). I tried this for a change. What a mistake! Maybe it's the product, but this was completely bland, virtually no heat. A bad batch?? I can't recommend this.

Quick and easy.Oct 27, 2009
By Jimmy Morelli I love this stuff and use it often. It is easy to use, tastes great and you can be creative with it. There are many uses for this in your kitchen, it not just for sushi.

By churchboycarp The power is not as strong as I've had before. evidently preperation of redishes vary or some start as hotter
redishes. I have tried to doctor some almonds that had wabasi treatment tried to dampen and sprinkle with
wasabi to give hotter taste
--marginal results--.
