You should buy the regular.Apr 11, 2011
By J. Graves This brand does make a superior coconut milk, but Amazon buyers are always on the lookout for a good deal. The only difference between this Lite Coconut Milk and Thai Kitchen Pure Coconut Milk, 13.66-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12) is water! That being said, stretch your dollar and buy the regular version. To cut calories and fat, add the water yourself.

The best!!Dec 14, 2007
By Maggie's Mom Delicious in all the Thai dishes I've used it in!! And it's relatively inexpensive and lower in calories. I would never use another brand after sampling this!!

Why Did I Chose Light?Dec 30, 2007
By Eddie Wannabee That, indeed, is the question. After sampling the milk I realized that a better choice would have been regular. The milk taste pretty darn good. I made a milkshake (vanilla, strawberry) and it was delicious. I tried it in some cooking and the results were not as expected. But then I attempted a soup with Pumpkin, Barley, Seafood and the Coconut Milk and it came out pretty good (among herbs and spices, of course). Also did Chocolate Pudding Sugar Free and this milk is thick and fits right in with the added plus of the flavor. The fact of the matter is that there is probably many more uses for this type of milk that I have yet to devise, but for the time being I love what it can do with ice cream shakes and a few other uses. Next time I will be going all the way, for the full taste of Thai Kitchen Pure Coconut Milk (nothing like Mother Nature own Juice!) 4 Stars!

Great Buy - High QualityOct 20, 2007

This brand is my favorite brand of coconut milk. It is always high quality, tasty, and well packaged.
I use coconut milk for puddings (even bread pudding), rolls with cream, curry, rice pudding, etc.
The price I paid for a 12-case was less than I pay per can on sale at my local grocery mart.
I recommend purchase of this brand, size, and type.

By Oscar's mom I love coconut milk and this is great. My local grocery store didn't carry the lite so I bought it here. It arrived quickly and tastes great.
