If you prefer a smooth cup of coffeeMar 01, 2009
By Derek Mark Lussier I purchased this item after reading through the reviews on Amazon. I have to say that I haven't been disappointed. The cups contain a blend of arabica and kona coffee. They brew with a nice aroma and color. I would describe them as a medium roast with a medium strength. Depending on your mood you can adjust the strength by adjusting the cup size and changing your creamer. I've had success using whole milk, half and half, and light cream, with light cream being the best in my opinion. The taste is mellow and very smooth. I have read other reviews here that have described them as weak or tasteless. This is simply not the case. I would compare it to the coffee from Dunkin Donuts. If you prefer your coffee extra bold, dark roasted, or strong (Starbucks) then you are just not going to be happy with these. Also, if you prefer to "double brew" your cups to get the most for your money, you will be very disappointed. These will brew a delicious cup of coffee, but only if you use them as directed. Finally I have to say that Amazon is the best place to buy these. They have the best prices and fast shipping. Add this to your subscribe and save to get 15% extra off.

Try other coffee and come back for more of this...Nov 22, 2008
By Jaeshin Soh Well... This was the very first k-cups that I got for my Keurig machine. I was perhaps expecting too much by the word "Kona" coffee. Of course, 10% Kona beans wouldn't make the coffee anything resembling the real thing. I was a little disappointed at first. By the way... I only tried Kona coffee once before when a friend of mine brought me a 1/2 lbs of beans from Hawaii. It was a long time ago and frankly speaking I don't quite remember how it was. I just remember that I liked it. ^^
Anyway... I kept thinking it was good but not that good until I tried other K-cups. Then I realized this Kona blend is better than regular blends or coffees. Don't get me wrong. They are still not "Kona" but comparing to other coffee, you can taste that nutty flavor. It's smoother and distinctive.
I got variety packs to test out other k-cups but am happy that I got two boxes of Kona blend. Perhaps next time, I will try other company's Kona blends and see the difference between Timothy's and others.

I like this one a lot!! Its not very bold, and not weak either. Just a nice smooth blend. I like to have this mid day or after dinner. My favorite is the Coffee People Donught Shop, but that is too strong for the evening. I get this through the subscribe and save which makes it a great value as well.

If this Kona Is Not Your Kuppa Tea, TRADE IT!Dec 23, 2009

I really loved the ROBUST flavor of this Kona, but my stomach wasn't able to handle it due to reflux caused by it. Luckily, I was able to trade my almost full box at the K-Cup Exchange on yahoo ( [...]), and in return get a flavor that agreed with me more.
I recommend the K-Cup Exchange site VERY highly. You can learn a lot about brewing with your Keurig there, and find cheap places to buy, and it's totally free.

Great Cup of CoffeeJun 24, 2009

After trying several k-cup varieties and brands, we really love the Timothy's kona for its richness but not bitter taste in the morning. It is a strong flavor without the burnt taste.
