When I went to Barbados and discovered these rum cakes I never thought I'd eat them again unless I went back to Barbados.
These are the best rum cakes I have ever had (and I am Caribbean.)
They taste great and are a wonderful gift at Christmas for co-workers, people who drop by, and neighbors. I even gave one to the maintenance person who came to fix my oven the day before Christmas.
Do yourself a favor, order a lot and keep them around. I will warn you now...it is hard not to eat them yourself.

All three flavors are delicious... but there's always a favorite. Key lime is the winner. I bought 5 of these sets (30 mini-cakes!) to include in welcome bags for wedding guests coming from far away; people raved about them and it was a nice touch since the box says "a Taste of Florida" (a Miami wedding).

I was pleasantly surprised by these. Admittedly, I wasn't expecting much from a premade, shelf-stable cake, but the taste, texture, and moistness were all very good. The sweetness was just right and the rum was not overpowering. Pretty good quality ingredients too; no high fructose corn syrups or other nonsense here. I heated mine in the microwave for ten seconds to warm up it up just a tad before eating. Delicious.
