more chewing to get the cherry flavorJul 12, 2010 I love dried cherries, add them with walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg to my morning oatmeal. I love the tart flavor but have found with these cherries, it takes a lot more chewing to bring out the cherry flavor. Maybe they are dried a bit longer than others, or maybe a different variety of cherries than what I am used to.
Dried Cheeries From MichiganJul 11, 2010 This was my third order from Amazon of the wonderful dried cherries, excellent alternative to junk food.
Best Deal AroundJun 04, 2010 This product exceeded my expectations and 2 of my friends have ordered it. The cherries are great in salads, trail mix, or just eating out of hand to help with arthritis.
Traverse Bay Dried CherriesMay 28, 2010 These cherries are so good! Taste just like eating a good tart cherry pie, but without all the sugar and fat.

Inedible Dried FruitApr 25, 2010 I bought whole bunches of different types of dried fruit, including these dried cherries.
I always read the product descriptions very carefully.
I suppose the cherries met the product description, but they could not give me any help on the taste.
These and many other dried fruits offered on Amazon were terrible in taste.
I've had such good results with return of items for refund that I never even wondered if, for these cherries, Amazon has a firm policy to not accept returns, to make no refunds.
Now that I think about that, I agree. Food is an item that could be adulterated by a evil-thinking customer, then returned. We would not want a 'returned food item' to eat.
I complained and got a curious letter of apology from a real person and the data that she had authorized a "apology payment" to me for some $60. I sent her a very nice thank you, only to have it return with the notice that I had replied to a "no reply" address.
I will never buy any food item from Amazon.
I've bought many thousands of dollars of stuff from Amazon and like their sevices, but "buyer beware" because this is not you corner grocery store.
