Packs a big punch!!Mar 06, 2009

When they call this a concentrate, they are not kidding!! The box it came in is small, and the juice is like syrup. Contains all the necessary ingredients to make a 6 gallon(23L) batch of wine.. All you need to do is supply your equipment, time and water.. The kit also comes with clear, step by step instructions, and a certificate which tells all the specifics for the batch.. This certificate is used mainly by commercial wineries, so that tells me that this kit should make an excellent wine! At least that is what I am hoping for.. The grapes in this varietal are from Lodi, California. Although it will be about 3 months till my first official taste of this wine, I am very impressed with both the product and customer service I received.. I did need to call as I was unsure whether or not to snap the lid down on the primary, and they had one of their wine guys call me back very quickly.. And yes, you do need to snap the lid down and use your airlock for the full 14 days.. I am new to winemaking, so if you want an experts opinion you will have to wait, but for a beginner, this kit has been very easy so far!! Unfortunatley, like I said earlier, it will be months before I can give a taste test review here, so stay tuned!!
