5Love these!Dec 22, 2008
By NYShopaholic
I love all of the Vitalicious chocolate products I've tried so far - the deep chocolate Vita Muffins, the Vita Brownies, and now these Fudgy Peanut Butter Vita Tops. They're delicious and satisying and do make for a small but filling snack. I highly recommend them. I tried the banana nut and one of the bran (cran-bran, maybe - can't remember) Vita Muffins and didn't care for them at all. However, the chocolate products are fantastic! Don't compare them to traditional, fatty muffins and brownies, though, or you will be disappointed. They're still very tasty in their own right, and I used them as a nice end of day treat.

5100 cal yummy diet foodJan 16, 2009

I love these vita tops they are "muffin tops" they don't taste like muffins.. they don't taste like tops either, lol. what they kinda taste like is chocolate, peanut butter chips (not a lot of peanut butter chips). they are a dense cake, slightly chewy. will definitely make you full after eating just one (if you have been drinking enough water)...

I must remind all potential buyers that this is a "diet food" so wear your dieters tongue when you try them for the first time. You are not going to get a chocolate chip dunkin dounuts muffin! on the bright side they don't fall apart like the DD muffins!

2mmmmm not this timeMay 10, 2010

I love the Vitalicious products. Love chocolate and peanut butter. It's too bad that this product falls short for me. The "peanut butter" is in globs of pseudo -peanut butter chips that have a flat, dull peanut butter flavor that doesn't stand up to the chocolate cake. I avoid even buying the sampler packs with these in them as I know they will live in the freezer until I throw them out. Try it in the sampler before you make a commitment.
REMEMBER, lot of reviewers complain of Vitalcious products being "dry" or "moldy"...you MUST store Vitalicious cakes in the freezer. You can take a few out at a time and put them in the refrigerator, but only for a few days. You can microwave frozen ones for 30 seconds or so, or microwave the refrigerated ones for 10 seconds for a warm treat. Read the label! Enjoy!

5Awesome Treat ... but Full of Good Things!!!!Feb 08, 2009

You really can't let these go by unnoticed! They are NOT just some other "diet food"... they are really in a category all their own! They are chocked full of all kinds of vitamins, high fiber, are only 100 calories, keep great in your freezer and are the answer for the worst Chocoholic in the need of a "fix". :-) Sure you can eat all the unhealthy stuff and feel all bloated & guilty; but have one of these and know you are doing something good for your body and it tastes GREAT at the same time!!

1Skip the "Skippy!"Mar 25, 2010
By L. Gery "Garden Girl"
I love Vitatops and decided to try a sampler package to taste the flavors I can't find in local grocery stores. After reading the reviews, I thought there might be some exaggerations about the odd taste of the peanut butter chocolate Vitatops. Since I'd enjoyed the Double Chocolate ones so much, I couldn't imagine how much worse the peanut butter chips could taste.

I will add my two cents' worth now, and discourage anyone from buying this flavor. While I loved the Mint Chocolate and Triple Chocolate varieties, and have yet to try the Banana Chocolate ones, the peanut butter chips taste like burnt mustard, totally ruining the taste of the Vitatop.

So skip the "Skippy!"
