 Great Beans DENTED CansJan 16, 2010

My family loves these beans and I have ordered them before. The first shipment had 2 or 3 cans with small dents. My last order had 9 of 12 cans that were severely dented. This did not happen in shipping. The box was in good condition and packaged well by Amazon. Most of the dents are on the inside cans of the package.It seems that they come this way from the manufacturer. Amazon is sending me a replacement case and I hope they are in better shape.
UPDATE: My replacement case came and 11 of 12 cans have dents. Amazon has refunded my money. I contacted Walnut Creek and they said they only sell Amazon first quality products and they are not sure how the cans are getting dented. I would not suggest purchasing these beans from Amazon.

Vegan. Organic. Fat Free. A treat. Beautiful organic beans in a smooth & delightful organic maple baked bean sauce. Onion flavor note is not really distinguishable by itself but adds well to the overall flavor 'symphony.' Pleasant maple sugar flavor. A delight. Highly recommended! 525 calories, 0g fat, and 24g protein per can. Labeled "vegetarian," but is vegan also. This review is out there for those for whom this makes a difference. We have been purchasing these baked beans for about a year now. Typically not a big fan of baked beans in a can, we decided to give these a try. We were sold on the first can and have been buying them ever since!

These beans have a very good flavor, I mixed them up with tofu kilbasa for the franks and beans experience. It was a satisfying meal, made in minutes. I would highly recommend trying these great organic beans.
