I have tried three or four other brands of glass stove top cleaner. This is by far the best. When used regularly it is great in preventing spills from becoming baked on messes that are almost impossible to clean. Just a little of this product goes a long way.
What I love about buying it from Amazon is I get 6 at a time. I purchased this two years ago and still have two unopened bottles. None of them have dried out.

Goes on thick and pastey- smear it around with a paper towel and then wipe it off. If the glass is dirty, let it sit and work for a bit and then use a paper towel or dishcloth to wipe it off.
I've used other brands and this is superior. BTW, I love to buy the multi-packs of cleaning products from Amazon- its a bit less expensive and then I always know I have more cleaner on hand.

Product To Clean A Cooktop Ready For The TrashNov 10, 2010

Okay, I wanted a gas stove. My remodeler pushed and pushed and pushed for me to try the flat glass cook top. I gave in. Despite my best efforts, in the month I'd had the appliance the cook top had acquired burned on spills that I could not get off. I had seriously considered chucking it.
Today I used this product for the first time. I spread a thin coat all over the surface with a bit more on the cooked on places. Five minutes later I tackled it with a paper towel. A paper towel! With MINIMAL effort the crusty, burned on places came right off. The entire black cook top is now shiny and reflective. I also learned I needed WAAAY less than I used. This is a frugal product. That's a good thing.
I heartily recommend this product. It is a miracle product, if there is such a thing. Glad this came with 6 bottles, because every TV show or product I like seems to fade away into obscurity. PLEASE keep carrying this at such a wonderful price!
Update: I laid my plastic sponge on top of the cook top thinking it had cooled. It melted on. This stuff took it right off because of this product's protective coating. This is the best cleaner for your cook top. The best. Period.
To the person who left a review about this leaving a film: Yes, it does, a thin film that protects your cook top from the rigors of spills and burns. It is invisible. Work the product with one cloth, then wipe and buff it with another. Then be thankful this product exists!

Superior at removing cooked on stains. Better than any other products I've tried. Pasta water boiled over on glasstop then continue to cook in while I was in another room. Came back to a cooked on mess. This product removed it like no other.
