Very good, but hard to findJun 30, 2011
By Chris Tutor This is my favorite Zatarain's flavor and, of course, if almost impossible to find in the store. Quick and easy to fix and makes a really large pot of food.
Add some Chipotle Tabasco to your bowl and, wow, my mouth is watering right now. Great stuff!
Our Favorite Zatarain's MealMay 02, 2011
By Eric from Maine Outstanding meal. Infact it's our favorite Zatarain's meal, and has oddly become hard to find. We didn't find this to be too salty, but neither are we on a low sodium diet. It's easy to experiment with by adding more spices, veggies, different meats, and even usable with TVP (not my thing). Try it and enjoy.
Tasty but saltyDec 22, 2010
By P. K. Stone Very easy to fix with a can of tomatoes and some chicken, pork or shrimp. The seasonings are flavorful and the rice cooks up nicely, unlike instant rice which has an odd extruded look and feel. It is quite salty though - more salty than I like. I have been using sodium free tomatoes and, of course, not salting the water. I will eat the boxes I have but will not order more due to the excessive salty taste.
