Excellent oil for sautéing and for spicy foodsJul 27, 2009
By William Sribney
"swimmer, runner, cook"
This olive oil is great for sautéing (as other reviewers have noted). I also love it for spicy dishes, such as Moroccan cuisine, when I don't want a strong green olive taste in the dish. This oil has a medium-light flavor with a very nice mild peppery aftertaste.
I use this oil for medium-high temperature sauté and for all spicy dishes. It's nothing special cold in salad dressings or drizzled over dishes (except for highly spiced ones). For drizzling or when I want a stronger green olive taste, I use the Zoe Arbequina olive oil, which is excellent for these purposes.

As if from TuscanyJun 14, 2007
By Paul This is really quality olive oil for almost the same price if not better than what you'll find in the grocery store. It has a strong, nutty flavor, reminding us of the freshly pressed oils we've have in Tuscany, Italy.

Light taste, sautés wellFeb 01, 2007
By Helen J. Casper I'm picky when it comes to olive oils. I generally like lighter oils that don't have a heavy olive or oily taste. When I first opened this, I was a little distracted by its unusual scent. However, this olive oil performs extremely well in cooking. It has a very light taste and works very well for sautés.
Very good productFeb 09, 2011

Most Excellent Spanish Single Olive EVOOOct 27, 2010
By Old Leather Tailor
"Old Leather tailor"
This Spanish, single olive Extra Virgin Olive Oil is full bodied and buttery/creamy in the mouth. Zoe Diva Select Cornicabra is a step up from their three olive coupage in the 1 liter tin. The Cornicabra is nearly identical in color and viscosity, but the taste is a world apart. Much more bold and full. But not sharp. Just rich, creamy and buttery. NO bitterness. The flavors and aromas appear as advertised.
