Get the spray insteadJul 25, 2006

I bought the wipes because I figured they would be convenient. I'm sure they would be, if I could get them out of the container properly. No matter how hard I try they wad up and tear or all come out at once. I liked the idea of a biodegradable wipe and the packaging is cute, just not functional. Call me crazy but I like a functional package.
Now I remove the whole lid instead of feeding the wipes through the dispensing hole. It works, but not as convenient as I hoped. Next time I'll get the spray cleaner and use a washable microfiber cloth.

Unattractive sweet perfumy smell, but gets the job doneSep 27, 2006
By L.A. Lawyer I have mixed feelings regarding these wipes.
I agree with the previous poster that they can be a hassle to get out of the container. Method and a lot of other companies who make similiar containers should think about redesigning their packaging - for instance, Restoration Hardware makes a similar floor wipe and the Restoration Hardware package is designed so that it is not a challenge to remove a single wipe.
I also don't like the smell of these wipes - very sweet and perfumy. It might be a matter of taste. For instance, I hate sweet and floral perfumes. If you like such scents, you might actually like the scent of this product.
But I do like how this product wipes down my maple wood desk and gets rid of all the finger prints and sticky stuff. And I prefer the convenience of a wipe to a spray, even if I do have to struggle to get the wipe out of the container.
If they could fix the container and tone down the smell, these would be perfect.
Second thoughts after using these for a few days - I won't be buying them again. The smell really sickens me. I've tried the Method all-purpose cucumber and pink grapefuit wipes and both of those scents are okay, but the perfumey scent of the wood wipes truly makes me nauseous. If you are sensitive to smell, beware.

By M. Martinelli These are GREAT. They have just the right amount of moisure and they clean AND polish. No spray, no towels -- just pull out a wipe and go. Method products are NOT tested on animals and contain NO animal ingredients which makes this product perfect.
Eco-friendly but stinks? try againApr 15, 2008
By Puppluv I understand most people like "smells" and there are a few smells that I tolerate well and even enjoy but many-probably most people who use eco products do so because it is healthier or because they have reactions to chemicals/preservatives/smells etc. & don't want eco products to stink like chemical products. I wonder if it's possible to reproduce a chemical floral sweet stink with all natural eco-friendly products, I doubt it. Which means I wonder what is in these products to create the stink?
My main complaint is, Method and others usually list the fragrance name or something about fragrance so you know if it smells or not. The only way I knew to stay away from this product is from the reviews by customers. THANK YOU REVIEWERS!!!!
If you are an eco-friendly company, you probably understand the nightmare it is to try and live a fragrance-free life in a world full of chemical fragrances - so why not list the fragrance description and what ingredients give the fragrance so those of us who get really sick will know to avoid your products? If you are eco-friendly, please be eco-friendly.
